All For The Glory of God

This is a thought that I have been thinking for the past few weeks due to the video clips from the Cat and Dog theology that we will be having in the adult Bible School. From my initial understanding and as what the lady in the video kept saying, "It's not about me; It's all about Him." These are two strong sentences that we sometimes misinterpret. Yes, we accept this reality when it comes to having God as our Savior. We praise Him because we just have to believe in Him in order for us to be saved. And yet when it comes to the reality that he should be Lord, we tend to say "It's all about me, It's not about God." We want to control every aspect of our life, but in doing this, we try to get the glory for ourselves, we try to grab the glory that's due God.

All these has reminded me of what our purpose is here on earth, of why we are created in the first place and that is to glorify God. I guess the distractions here on earth left us focused on other things or on ourselves. Working for a living, watching TV for relaxation, chatting with friends and many more - all of these we, most of the time, intetionally do for the benefit of ourselves and not for the greater glory of God.

if you think about it, this is something big! Not only do we give God the glory for all the things that we do, we also live according to the original puropose of why we were made.
